HEART TALKS WITH DR GEM
One question an episode, no jargon
Each episode takes a single question — the kind that comes up in clinic every week — and works through what the evidence actually says.
If you found this practice through a video, you are in the right place: the cardiologist in those videos is Dr. Gem Raghav Prashanth, and this is his professional website.

ABOUT THE SERIES
Why Heart Talks exists
Reliable information is hard to find
A great deal of the cardiac advice circulating online is unsourced or overstated. Heart Talks with Dr Gem offers explanations a cardiologist would stand behind, in language that does not require a medical degree.
Understanding changes adherence
Patients who understand why a medicine is prescribed are far more likely to keep taking it. Education is not separate from treatment — it is part of it.
Questions come from clinic
Episode topics are drawn from what patients genuinely ask, rather than from what performs well as content.
Education, not consultation
The series explains general principles. It cannot assess an individual patient, and is not a substitute for a consultation.
